“THE DEBASING OF THE DOLLAR” – RS 30 to a US$?
Monetary policy was meant to provide liquidity when markets seemed to be choked for money. But the US Federal Reserve has turned it into a way to finance dud assets that don’t deserve to be bought. In other words, the US Federal Reserve is putting such high quantities of US dollars in the market that it is being used to finance duds. When you do that i.e. print more and more money, eventually, you “debase” a currency. And that’s where the US dollar is headed.
